i've set up a terminal server virtual pc to test 2x applicationserver but i cannot connect with the client. whats strange is that i am able to connect to the termial server with the windows rdp client. i've published ie but when the client tries to connect i cannot see the ie icon and most of the buttons are grayed out in the 2x client. any suggestions?
i'm evaluating 2x for my company and was wondering why the terminal server session ends when all the published applications are closed but the 2x client remains connected. i'm just being nitpicky but it takes a bit longer to launch an application if you don't already have one open. and some users like to close one application before opening another if they do not need them open together.
Hi nicklaz, If a session is not available a session needs to be created before the application is launched, thus a small delay is introduced. When Closing an application there is another small delay before closing the session. This was introduced especially for the scenario you are referring to when a used closes one application and opens another. The second application will find the session still open and it is launched immediately. Nixu
