Not compatible with Mavericks / El Capitan and WXP

Can't use until fixed! 4cpu / 8gb memory. Give me a break. Not buying until resolved.

 

Can you explain in more detail what needs to be improved in the current support for Mavericks, El Capitan, and Windows XP?

I have all macOS versions from 10.5 Leopard to 10.13 High Sierra and 13 Ventura working in Parallels Desktop 19. Mac OS X 10.4 requires VirtualBox. I haven't tried the other versions of macOS yet.
I also have working Windows 7, 8, & 10 VMs.
I can boot Windows 98 but that's not well supported.

 

The notes above are running those MacOS's as virtual machines.
Since the Macs cannot be updated further than El Capitan and Mavericks, Parallels Desktop 19 needs to be "installable" on those OSs.
Then I can proceed with any virtual machines.

 

Which Macs do you have that are limited to El Capitan and Mavericks? Did you try installing a later OS using OpenCore Legacy Patcher?

One Mac no Parallels desktop and cannot run a compatible version. I need parallels to run Widows XP software for finance and taxes since 2014.
Second Mac has Parallels but the Mac has a bad screen at this time for almost 10 years. I have been unable to get Apple to provide the clamshell lid and screen "glossy" CCFL-backlit higher-resolution 1920x1200 display. Printer drivers have changed and moving to a newer Mac, does not print the old Post Script drivers built into Peachtree Complete.

Parallels Desktop 14 runs Windows XP but 2 issues. "Problem detected and Windows has been shut down" Second boot it works. Also does not handle the Peachtree Built in Post Script Printer Drivers correctly. An old version of Parallels did before upgrade to El Capitan - Mavericks and Snow Leopard on HP 7600 Premium Ink Jet which HP recommended gong to HP M577 but now learned it will never handle the Post Script.

Second one received June 2021. First one had unusable two years and Apple refused to replace. USB burned up 8 -- 8tb,10tb,12tb Seagate Iron Wolf drives which contained all backups. Cannot upgrade OS because of lack of compatibility by APPLE to tax and financial software on Mac side. Parallels 13.3.2 installed. But again it does not pass through virtual machine of WindowsXP Post Script Driver in built in PeachTree Complete Version 7...PeachTree not upgradable. Hope an upgrade will fix print driver issues between Peachtree built in Post Script and HP7600 Premium InkJet. It will not work on the HP MFP Color Laser Jet.
Suggestions?

 

BootCamp? VirtualBox? Older version of Parallels Desktop?
You can upgrade macOS on a new partition and keep the old macOS.

 

Windows XP is in bootcamp on older MacOS - Elcapitan, Mavericks using Parallels Desktop.
Windows XP is in Parallels virtual machine Mojave
Never used virtual box.
Nope cannot upgrade Past Mavericks OS. Left ElCapitan in other Mac after issues with drivers in Parallels and Mavericks with Peachtree v7 built in Post Script Driver.
Not sure what partition and upgrade Mojave to Catalina will accomplish other than a ntroduce more incompatibilities with financial software and WXP and Peachtree V7 Post Script drivers.
