Not focusing on active modal window in Windows

    Hi,
    When using windows 10 full screen and a modal window comes up the focu does not go the new modal form. Say it's a confirmation for example I can't just hit enter on the keyboard to select the default button or start typing in a window. Does anyone have any recomendations?
