Just upgraded. It is a paid option.
Now that 16.5 is out will this forum get folded into the main forum?

 

Good question. I hope it stays separate at least for a while.
(And now I'm waiting for Parallels Support to get 16.5 activated. I'm having trouble using my paid license that I previously used on my Intel Mac. Hopefully that's not a general problem.)

 

I've got the same problem. Downloaded 16.5 and get this msg...

 

FWIW, 16.5.0 installed on my iMac (18,3) Big Sur and Mac mini (11,3) Catalina without issue.

 

Ok my issue was solved. I had updated to v16.5 via the 'check for update' option..... doing that produced the error. Doing a fresh download and install fixed it. Thank you Parallels support !

 

Your version is 16.5.0 (49183], mine is 16.5.0 (50695) and works on M1 (once I can get it to accept my license). I updated from the Technical Preview.

 

Interesting... the build I just got from support is 50692 not 50695
