Trying to connect to a ODBC data source through MS Excel or MS Access using Parrallels on a Mac Pro and we are unable to connect, literally nothing happens. The ODBC driver is using port 1583. We have deactivated the MS firewall. We have tried all the network connection types (Shared, host-only, bridged) to no avail. The ODBC works from a wintel machine running XP, 2000, etc. Thanks in advance for any help.
