ODBC between virtualized Windows ans OS/X

I am considering an application which will run Filemaker under OS/X to host some databases. I need to access those database with a programme which has to run under Windows. I have the latest Parallels. I can set-up the ODBC side for Filemaker. I can also set-up the ODBC connectivity in my Windows programme (SAS). But, I can't find a way to connect the Windows ODBC and OS/X ODBC components so that SAS can access the Filemaker databases. I did a forum search and found no threads about ODBC. Any advice would be appreciated.
