I've got a MacBook Pro running leopard that I'm setting up with parallels 3.0 running windows XP. It also has the novell netware client (4.91 sp2) installed on it. Whenever Parallels first starts up, it automatically tries to log in and fails, giving me an invalid username and password error message. After that, it comes to the login box and it logs in fine. I used a previously installed image of XP, and I'm hoping I don't have to do a clean windows install. The error message doesn't seem to affect usability, and normally I'd just live with it (a coworker of mine is having the same issue), but this laptop is actually for my organization's CIO, so I'd prefer she didn't get error messages on login...
Hi, I fixed it shortly after posting that last question, here is what I had to do: Click Start/Run and type: control userpasswords2 Click OK and the "User Accounts" Property Sheet displays. On the "Users" tab, Check the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" check box. Click "Apply" works as expected now
