I hope I'm submitting this question in the right forum.
In Windows 10, using Parallel 12, I am unable to relocate the OneDrive personal folder from the default location and have it recreated in an external hard disk drive that is USB connected to the mac. I can do it with business OneDrive folders. Do I need to have the external hdd formatted NTFS? Currently it is exfat32 so that it could be used both by Mac and Windows. Or is there some other configuration adjustment that needs to be made with parallels? Thank you for your answer(s).

Hi ChrisO4, please login into OneDrive application on Windows virtual machine and then sign out to check the files and folders.Yes, you need to have the external hard disk formatted NTFS to use it in Windows virtual machine, you can also use ex-FAT format.

Ok, thank you for replying. This is what I've done: I've logged into my onedrive account and then it asks if I want to use the default or a new location for the file folders. I choose the new location (usb 3.0 connected jobd and choose one of the empty exfat formatted drives). I get this response from Windows 10 "Your OneDrive folder can't be created in the location you selected. Please choose a different location." Why? The drive is listed in the Windows file directory as "P Probox on 'Mac' (S:". Does it have to be oriented on the Mac for Windows only?? When I used a small portable USB exfat formatted drive and set for Windows only it could create the OneDrive folder. But the drive wasn't large enough. Do I need to make my intended drive on the jobd only seen as Windows drive? And can I make only one of the four drives seen by parallels in the jobd as a Windows drive?? Not sure what I've been doing wrong. Thanks for anyone's help.
