    Hi all,

Recently I have installed the game Worms Revolution through Steam on my Windows XP Pro VM in Parallels 8 (build 18305). When I try to play, a notice appears on-screen telling me that OpenGL Shaders are not supported by my graphics card. Then the game starts up and the intro screen appears (press enter to play). Past the intro screen the screen goes black and the game freezes when it's supposed to load the main menu. I have to force quit the game process in the task manager to get back to the desktop.

I have a MacBook Pro mid-2012 (non-retina) which has two graphics cards: Intel HD Graphics 4000 (integrated) and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024MB (dedicated). With a free utility called gfxCardStatus I have already tried to force Parallels to use both the dedicated or integrated card but neither will run the game. I'm pretty sure that both cards should support OpenGL so I guess that the game doesn't correctly recognize the graphics cards. I have also installed the game on a Windows 7 Ultimate VM but I encounter the same problems there.

Does anybody here have any suggestions on how to get this game running? I read somewhere on this forum that some applications have registry keys that can be edited so the application recognizes the cards correctly. Is this applicable here?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kevin
