Opening ports: what should I do??!!

    Whats up guys,
    I have a macbook and i installed on it the windows 7 parallels..
    I found a problem.. I was trying to open ports(TCP/UDP) and i can't do it! (ports 7171 and 7172)
    I execute:
    cmd>ipconfig. the ip adress that appears is virtual .. so i can`t configure it in the router webpage (192.168.1.1)
    what should I do?
    I need to put a server online these days..
    =)

    Hi,

    It seems that you are using "Shared Networking". The best way to try in your case - is to switch to "Bridged" networking to default adapter. This should make VM go get IP from your network.

    Note: Bridged can not work with some settings of router.
