    I'm running a 2.5ghz 17" Macbook Pro with 4GB ram and OSX 10.5.6.

    When on battery with the Parallels VM running performance is almost unusable in the XP vm and battery life halves. I have Parallels 3.0 on an older OSX 10.4 mac without issue. Please help.

    Also, i run shared networking. When i VPN in from my mac (host) should i be able to access corp shares within my VM?
