I've looked over the other posts on here about Parallels, ActiveSync, and WM5 and haven't found an answer, so I thought I'd post the question here.

I have a Palm 700wx, and an iMac running Missing Synch and the latest Parallels download (just got it today).

I can't get active sync in my XP vm to connect to my 700wx though. Although I've seen posts saying you don't have to disable Missing Sync's auto-detect, I did it anyway because otherwise it still detected the device, even with all listeners turned off (?!). So with that out of the way, I was able to get the device detected in Windows, but it would fail in installing the new hardware. Then when I launch active sync, it can't find it.

What the hell...I had no problems with my XP laptop...is there something I'm missing?

    THanks,

    D

I've got a Palm 750V which syncs with Activesync 4.2 and the last few builds of Parallels. You do need to soft reset the Palm before connecting to the usb port though.
