After installing the "finall" version of Parallels Desktop for Mac (1848), my Palm Desktop (4.2.1 revD) and Treo 650 would no longer initiate a cradle/cable (USB) HotSync. I had just done 2 without incident, had not installed any other software, and even after rebooting and performing the usual HotSync roubleshooting, this still didn't work. Parallels was "stopped" at the time.

Instead of un-installing Parallels Desktop for Mac, I re-instaled Palm Desktop 4.2.1 rev D and rebooted. Now HotSyncs are working again. Has anyone else run itno this issue?

Additional info: I have yet to get Parallels fully running - but that's due to something else. It appears the act of installing it and potentially an aborted launch may have had a USB conflict.

I'm not reporting a "for-sure" problem - just recounting this incident to see if there is a correlation.

    Thanks (newbie user).
