Hello All! Okay, so I got a fresh install for leopard( a few weeks old), on my Macbook 2GHz core duo, 1.5 GB Ram. I did a fresh install of Parallels (build number 5160). I went to install the server edition of Ubuntu 7.10. The install goes fine, everything is working like it should. When its booting and after Grub loads this is what I get. "PANIC:CPU too old of this kernel." I looked it up in google and nothing and on parallels forums.

    hi,
couldn't you specify your hardware configuration and which architecture (32 or 64 bit) distro of Ubuntu you are trying to install?

Why? what else do you need. Core duo only runs x86, so why would I get a 64 bit distro. Anyways it was the i686-server install of ubuntu 7.10. I gave it 440 mb of ram ( odd number but it worked fine with tiger.) 10 GB hard drive, everything else is the same as the presets.
