Parallels was working well for me for several months. Lately, it's started acting flaky. First, I started getting a "Parallels Tools cannot be installed" after an upgrade (sorry, I don't remember which one). I am an administrator (see screenshot below). Next, my start/stop/pause buttons disappeared from my OS window.

I'm not sure if it's related but the latest update for Mac OS Leopard will not install on this machine.

If this was a Windows machine, I'd probably just give up and rebuild it. However, I'm hoping that there is something that can be easily fixed.

    Does anyone have any ideas?
