I'm running build 1922 of Parallels and Vista RC1 inside it. Everything seems to be running ok now, except when I open the Parallels Tools running in the system tray under Vista, I only get "Clipboard Sync" and "Time Synch".

I thought I'd see other stuff like for the shared folders. Any thoughts?

You can always run the tools install again, checking that everything is marked for install.

I've tried reinstalling the tools several times for Windows 98se. But the clipboard doesn't work copying from OS X. If I open the Parallels Tools window and monitor the Windows clipboard contents, I just see the first character from the OS X clipboard appear as the mouse moves into the VM window. This is with Build 1918. I guess I'd better try 1922.

When I install the tools (by mounting vmtools.iso), whether I choose "Complete" or "Custom", the only thing I wind up with are the Time and Clipboard.

Choosing "Custom" only gives me those two options to install.

At this point, I would probably run the Parallels config again.

You need to install parallels tools using Win XP compatability mode. What ever install options that appear, cancel that. And go to d drive and choose the parallel tools exe file and right click and choose the compatibility for Win XP. Then install. After that you should see the rest.
