No idea what is going on. Since updating to Parallels 10, my iMac running OSX 10.9 has bogged down to a virtual stand still. Launching the Windows VM can take upwards of 20 minutes, and once the launch process starts no Mac programs work at more than a snails pace. Opening an e-mail can take more than a minute. Opening another program 5 - 10 minutes. Checking Activity Monitor I don't see any particularly high memory use, but I do see the Desktop using upwards of 90% of the CPU cycles, steady state 60% (once 137% math Apple?). I have uninstalled and re-installed, but that doesn't seem to help. Anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions welcome. As of right now I have had to just stop using Parallels.
Hello Airic499, If your Virtual Machine takes consumes about 100% of Mac CPU resources and is running slow, please try the steps as suggested at: http://kb.parallels.com/116263 .
