Parallels 10 & Windows 8.1 Not Running Programs Simulataneously

    I'm running an application in windows (MetaTrader 4) and when I shift focus to a mac app like Slack or Safari, data streaming to MetaTrader 4 stops until I click back into the MetaTrader 4 window. I have allocated 6 virtual machines and 12gb of memory to the windows instance. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue, or is this a limitation of Parallels?

    Hello Ryan, you may switch network mode from Shared into Bridged from Parallels Desktop Configuration->Hardware->Network1 and check how it works. Thanks!
