I have a 13" mid-2012 MacBook Pro that I use Parallels on and would like to update to High Sierra. I read that Parallels 13 is only compatible with late-2012 Macs and beyond (http://blog.parallels.com/2017/08/23/parallels-desktop-13-system-requirements/), suggesting it will not work on my Mac. However, the user guide does not mention late-2012 or beyond as a requirement and instead mentions processor specifications, which, from what I can tell, my MacBook meets (it has an 8 GB memory and 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7 processor). Will Parallels 13 work on my MacBook? If not, is there any other way for me to run Parallels on it with High Sierra?
Hi there, JeniferH. 8 GB of RAM and High Sierra means you can run Parallels Desktop 13 on your Mac. What matters the most is the macOS/Parallels version match.
