Is it just me or is this a known problem?

My MBP does not go to sleep when Parallels is running. I tried to "pause" Parallels and still my laptop won't sleep. The screen goes dark, however.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Have tried to sleep you MBP through your apple menu ? I've been running 3036 all days. So far, my MBP can sleep and wake up properly. I suspect that your WindowsOS was running some processes that prevent your MBP to sleep.

    Good luck.

    Thanks for you replies.

Gonna keep testing and try and pinpoint what's causing this.
I've reinstalled OSX and Parallels.... still same issue.

    Thanks for all your replies.

    I have the same problem.

I think this is independent of parallels though... the mac book pro & OS 10.4.8 have had repeated sleep problems for me...
