I've installed Parallels 5 this morning and Windows 7. I cannot get the Parallels Kaspersky Anti-virus to install fully. I receive the following message- 'windows did not trust this program because its identity can't be verified'.

    Can anyone help?

Attached is a screenshot of the message raised by Windows 7 when trying to run Parallels Kaspersky.

Here is some add'l info which may or may not be useful:

In addition to my Mac running Parallels, I also own a Windows PC which also runs a full retail version of Kaspersky Anti Virus 2009. When I upgraded that machine to Windows 7, Kasperksy Anti Virus 2009 would cause Windows 7 to raise the same message. Based on research I was told that version 2009 was not Windows 7 compatible and that I had to download their 2010 version. When I did that, no problems appeared..everything worked fine.

Is Parallels Kaspersky Windows 7 compliant?

    Any suggestions?

Here is another screen shot highlighting that Windows 7 (Ultimate version) is blocking Parallels Kaspersky due to a Kaspersky driver issue.

    Hello,

I also have 5 installed parallels on my mac, parallels Kaspersky Anti Virus was installed automatically, but it is not functional because of the message: "windows did not trust this program because its identity can't be verified".

    What should I do?

    Cordially.

The kb article does not work. Instructions are for Vista, not Windows 7. Windows 7 shows different options which don't appear per the kb article.

I've also confirmed with Kaspersky that the version supplied with Parallels 5 (7.0.1.325) is not compatible with Windows 7.

Per the ticket I logged with them:
    CAS-332128-BPYN4W - Installation Issues CRM:00786751

Unfortunately the version of Kaspersky you received with your Parallels software is not compatible with Windows 7

I no longer have this problem due to the following:

I logged a ticket with Kaspersky, explained the situation. They confirmed the version showing up on Parallels Kaspersky (7.0.1.325) was not Windows 7 compliant. I sent them my proof of purchase and then they gave me a download link and issued me a new activation code which would work for Kaspersky Internet Security 2010.

    I'm all set now.

I am having the exact same problem. How do I log a trouble ticket to get the same upgrade?
