Parallels 5 Won't Install

Hi, I have a Mac Pro with 16GB and 8 CPU's running 10.6.1

I currently have the latest Parallels 4.0.3848 installed.

I cannot install version 5? The installer starts up, checks for updates and then clears the screen and does nothing more. The installer remains in the Dock but does nothing. I checked the activity monitor and installer is running with 4 threads and 8MB of real memory but 0% CPU.

I'm clueless. I've restarted the machine and then attempted an install, with the same scenario.

I live in rural Australia and the download took over 8 hours. I'd hate to have to download it again in case it's a corrupt download.

Any help would be appreciated.
