I have upgraded form P5 to P6, I regret and wonder how to downgrade. I run Bloomberg (BBG) under Parallel 6 and I am experiencing everyday crashes (at least 2 a day and more sometimes). I cant figure out the reason, I first suspected Kasperski but after I removed it crashes continue. As BBG is now the only app working and under P5 it was fine (not a crash in months...). So P6 has a flaw but which one, has anybody experienced something close and found a solution ? Or how can I go back to P5 ?
I'm having the exact same problem. Upgraded to P6, and have had crashes every day since the upgrade. Also have BBG installed. I never had any crashes with P5. This is frustrating and annoying and can't find a solution on the knowledge base either!!
Today I made a 2 changes to my VM config -> I unchecked both 3D acceleration and enable vertical Synchromization boxes and I have expanded memory to 4GB from 3GB. Result is : no crash today (but I used BBG much less than usual even if it ran all day long). I dont know if it will solve the problem in the next days. I will let you know and you may try.
Parallels 6 Frequent Crashes I'm also experiencing frequent crashes after upgrading P5 to P6. Initially Win7 would freeze on start. Solved that by lowering video memory from 256 to 128. Win7 would run for awhile, but after extended use I get the Blue Screen of Death. I hope Parallels is reading our threads. Running P6 on White MacBook 2GHz Intel Core Duo, 2GB memory. P6 VM memory @ 1GB, video 128MB, CPU 2
