I am running Parallels 6 for the first time, and one new bug I noticed is that it keeps telling the guest OS (Fedora 13 with Parallels Tools installed) to set its monitor resolution to the size of the window that I am using. I always view my guest OS in Window mode and never Full Screen or Modality modes. I need a way to use a fixed resolution (such as 1280x1024) and have it live in a window of any size with appropriate scroll bars, like in older versions of Parallels. Am I missing some option somewhere that can re-enable this? In addition, another bug is that the monitor configuration on the Fedora side is having interaction problems with Parallels. When I change the resolution through Fedora's Monitor Preferences, it will occasionally bring up an error dialog stating "could not set the configuration for CRTC 77". But aside from this, the moment that I resize the Parallels window changing the resolution on the guest OS side, Parallels tells the guest OS to change its resolution against my wishes again!
