Hi, Is Parallels 6 fully compatable with Lion, (10.7.1), I have upgraded to the latest build however I have noticed this has caused slower boot times, also If I open console the last line has "nstat_lookup_entry failed: 2" If i uninstall parallels 6, boot times improve and the "nstat_lookup_entry failed: 2" no longe is appears. this is in a 2011 imac (i5 2.7ghz / 4gb ram) has anybody else came accross this, is it lion / Parallels, any ideas? Regards, M
Same Here I see the nstat errors as well. My boot times are about 30 seconds longer with Lion and PD6 as compared with Snow Leopard and PD6. I see that slow boot times in PD7 have been addressed, no word on whether PD6 have the same code/issues. Maybe the Parallels staff will chime in now that PD7 has been fixed.
Glad its just not me, Hopefully this will be fixed in a future update (perhaps even 10.7.2 may help??) good to hear its ok in Parallels 7, however I am reluctant to purchase parallels 7 as I just got version 6 mid August. I have not reinstall 6 yet, but may try later if there are any updates. Regards, M
rearallels 6/ Lion (slow & nstat) I decided to uninstall PD6 and my boot times did not change. So for me it is not PD6 causing the long boot times. I reinstalled and the boot times remained the same. I am glad that I uninstalled however because I cleaned up a lot of remnants of PD3 & 4. I am with you in hoping that 10.7.2 helps everyone with boot times.
Parallels slows Lion Do you have any issues with the speed of Lion while running Win 7 in P6? Mine is nearly unusable. Can't figure out why. Evaluated all settings in P6, no change.
