For some reason, if I mount my physical optical drive to my Windows 7 VM, and try to play a DVD, the playback is extremely jerky. Other times I get an error about decoding drivers, or something along those lines.

I've tried multiple DVDs and they all do the same thing. But the play just fine in the Apple DVD Player.

This is a fresh install of Windows 7. Nothing else is on it besides Parallels Tools.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to run the DVD under.

The DVD plays fine in Bootcamp and in OSX.

    jerky playback and pixelation

Any solution to this jerky playback and multicolour pixelation problem as shown in the screenshot above?

Have tried cyber link powerDVD, winDVD and Windows media player using the decoders from the previously mentioned. Problem is the same each time. Tried high-colour 16-bit instead of true colour 32-bit and again same problem.

Are you guys working on a fix?

    Thanks.
