Parallels 6 won't start in Lion

I just migrated to a new macbook pro from an older Snow Leopard macbook pro and my Parallels 6 is not working. What I mean by not working is when I click on the application icon, it bounces and says it is loading, the pull-down menus even show up, but then it all just closes without any errors or warnings. If I try to do the same thing again, it will try to load, but closes even faster the second time or more.

I have completely removed Parallels using this link http://kb.parallels.com/9087 and I have reinstalled the latest 6.0 build (6.0.12106), but the problem still happens. i have even tried to open the program using the "Microsoft Windows XP.pvm" file, but the same results happen.

Has anyone else had this issue? I really don't want to upgrade to 7.0 if I don't need to since 6.0 was working fine for me before and at this point I am not sure if that would resolve the issue either.

PD 6.0.12106 officially supports Lion, so i suggest you to contact Parallels Technical support to figure it out.
