    Hi,

I have updated to Parallels 7 before installing Windows 7 Professional 64-bit as my guest OS.

My host is a new Mac Mini with 8 GB memory and 500 GB hard disk.

The issue I have is that the cursor disappear when running in Window or Full Screen View.

In Coherence there is no issue.

What happens is that the cursor disappear when opening windows.

On an empty desktop with no windows everything works fine.

The click Start - Right click Computer to launch the properties window.

    Everything still works fine.

Then click Advanced Systems Setting to launch the System Properties window.

    Now the cursor disappears.

When moving the invisible cursor over various buttons will highlight the button and clicks are also handled correctly.

However the cursor itself remains invisible, expect for an occasional flash that will reveal its position.

When the using XP as the guest OS there are no issues.

The issue remains when changing the desktop theme to a non-aero theme, such as Window 7 Classic.

The issue remains when changing the cursor to a non-aero theme, such as ExtraLarge.

The disable Aero setting in Parallels Config menu for Coherence has no effect on the issue.

I access the Mac Mini from my other mac using Share Screen.

I have now moved the virtual machine to my other mac and when run there without Share Screen the cursor remains visible.

Bottom Line: The issue seems to be limited to when Share Screen is used.

So what is the difference between running Windows 7 and XP via Share Screen? Whatever that is, it is what is causing this issue.
