OK, I've been belly-aching about Parallels 9 including how there is no speed bump for Ubuntu 13.04, the latest build. I must eat my own words. If you delete the existing install and start afresh, downloading and installing using the wizard, you end up with a FAR more responsive Ubuntu install. Much better! Rich::
