I will be purchasing a MacPro as soon as OSX 10.5 Leopard comes out (been waiting a year now...) and plan to purchase Parallels as well. How does parallels work with a dual-monitors? Is it possible to set it up so that the OSX desktop is on one monitor but XP is on the other, but be able to take the mouse from one screen to another and use all the other various features? Thanks.

I run my MBP with second monitor most of the time... Works just fine with Parallels.

MY basic setup is to have dual monitors with VirtueDesktops (something not needed in Leopard), have Parallels WinXP machine full screen on one of the desktops in one monitor and flip around with bascially 4 fully accessible work spaces...

Mouse moves among them with no problems at all. In this setup the XP windows are confined to the one monitor (of your choosing actually). In Coherence mode you can move XP windows in the two monitors, but I may be only on one desktop... I do not use this setup so I am not sure.

Works fine and is reasonbaly transparent...
