Hey everyone This question was probably already answered in a different thread but Im new with parallels and I wanted to find these things out before i purchase. I know that on a mac if you boot camp you can run windows 7 media center perfectly fine, the problem is I dont really want to go back to windows I just want to use the windows media center in windows 7 so that I can hook up a tv tunner to the mac and stream live tv, recorded tv, and internet tv to my xbox 360 as a media center extender I need to know will this work perfectly in parallels? if someone kinda has this setup going can you give me the details. or it cant be done
i'm bummed that nobody answered this question - i have Parallels 5, on a Snow Leopard system, with a Windows 7 VM and i can't get the WMC to stream to my xbox at all. i keep getting the error "unable to find the Extender" would've liked to seen an answer to this person's question. -jpb
