Parallels asking for OS installation. ??

I think I am in trouble. I pressed the other day the "recreate" botton in the Virtual disk size area of the Hard Disk Configuration window to decrease the size of the disk. I started Parallels today and is asking for OS installation. Why is this? I still have the windows image in my library folder ending in hdd. Am I in trouble? What can I do to use my current installation?

I am sorry to inform you that the virtual hard disk was recreated. The virtual disk was deleted and replaced with an empty virtual disk,
