I don't really know how it happened, but there it was. Suddenly the computer would not boot directly into Bootcamp at all. Tried what I could think of but things kept hanging at the white sound flourish screen. If I went back into OSX and ran the Parallels Bootcamp VM, well, that would run, but that was all. Eventually I booted to a Windows XP disk and had that "fix" the Windows installation. It's still a nightmare, and when I get a minute I'm planning on redoing my whole Bootcamp 1.4 setup (or replacing it with Leopard, if that arrives sooner rather than later). Meantime I'm trying to get rid of the Parallels Bootcamp VMs and having a little trouble figuring how that's done? A little help with that? I don't ever want Parallels messing with my Bootcamp partition again.
How to remove Bootcamp version of Parallels VM? I want to remove the Parallels VM that's based on Bootcamp w/o removing any other Parallels VMs I have. How do I accomplish this, specifically? Thanks.
