I tried booting, under parallels 3188 from my bootcamp partition. It started to boot but then hung up with a message telling me to wait. I was looking at the log-in screen of XP for over 10 minutes and nothing would happen. The mouse cursor wouldn't even move. I could do nothing but eventually force-quit Parallels. Upon trying to restart and boot from the bootcamp partition I got a message that the hal environment could not be found. I'm wondering what could have happened and if anyone else has experienced this when trying to start parallels from an XP bootcamp partition.
