I have a tricky situation. I set and use Chrome (mac) as my default browser. When I fire up Parallels to use Windows 7, Chrome for Windows makes itself the default browser. I have to go into Safari and reset Chrome (mac) as my default browser. It is kind of a pain in the ass.

I would like to know if anyone has a way to prevent that from happening in the first place.

    Hello joshsmith01,

Please follow the step provided below:

Start Parallels Desktop and run Windows Virtual Machine, On the top of the Parallels Desktop menu bar, choose Virtual Machine > Configure > Click Options > select Applications > click the Web pages menu > choose Open in Mac and let us know how it works.

    (1) "Start Parallels Desktop." WHen i do there is no virtual machine option. I have general, shortcuts, Devises, Security and Advanced. Neither on the menu

    (2) "On the top of the Parallels Desktop menu bar" ?????????? What is "Top of"?????????

However if i goto "Windows 10" app, select Parallel icon in menyu bar and configure there is perhaps some options. Pls edit this post or remove it,
