I've been using Parallels Client and Mac's built in VPN services to connect to a host computer on my my work's VPN on a 2012 MBP for 9 years. I just recently upgraded to the new 2021 M1 Pro MBP, and while the Mac's built in VPN services still connect to my work's VPN, the Parallels Client does not seem to recognize and use that connection to connect to a host computer on the VPN. The Parallels Client on the 2012 MBP still works and connects to the host computer on the VPN. I have everything setup exactly the same on Parallel's Client on both devices, yet having the issue on just the new MBP.

I've done a lot of trouble shooting and have tried some researching to figure out a solution, but to no avail. Any ideas?

I have the same problem. All good on my 2018 MBP but on the 2021 MBP M1 no VPN connection via ZyWall IPSec VPN Client (same settings). Does anybody have any ideas on how to solve this? I searched around and it seems that this is a general issue with the Macbook Pro 2021 with M1 ARM processor and VPN clients (such as fortinet, open VPN etc.)...
