When I go into coherence and open a mircrosoft program such as Excel, Word or Outlook, the Microsoft menu bar at the top of the window changes and is no longer showing View, which allow you to select from a list of open Microsoft applications. For instance when I'm in Outlook 2010 when I am not in coherence mode, I can only see "Microsoft Outlook" or "View" on the menu at the top of the screen. If I go under View the only option I get is "Enter Full Screen" When I am not in coherence I can just click on the Windows Task bar and click once on the Outlook icon to show which Outlook window's i have open and then I click the one I want to switch too (i.e. when your in outlook you sometimes have 4-5 windows you are switching between). Its really annoying when I am in coherence to switch between Outlook windows, I have no way of finding them among the web browsers and various programs I am using o n both the mac and the PC. I use coherence because I have dual screens, and the only way to view an Excel file in one computer monitor and another excel window in another computer monitor is to stretch the virtual machine across both windows, which is very tedius to get right, and then is extra annoying when I later want to work in mac programs and not in my virtual machine. Does anyone know a fix for this. If you do you'll be my hero, because this is something I have been struggling to find online for an answer on any forum or website and through my own experimentation of looking into the settings. If there is no work around, is there a program or addin I can buy that would make my life better with this problem? Thanks so much for your help : o )
alt-tab is working for me. I am in coherence, have multiple outlook windows open. I can use alt-tab to switch between them (basically brings up the expected windows alt-tab app switcher).
