    Hi,

I suddenly had this problem since I installed 5582 and it's still an issue in 5584. I can run Parallels for my virtual OS Windows XP, but not for my boot camp Windows Vista virtual machine.

Before it even hits the Vista graphical boot up screen, parallels will just shut down the OS session. Afterwards, if I try to boot into Vista directly in boot camp, I'll have to reactivate it.

I've tried to disable the automatic restart (F8 at boot time) to see what errors there are, but it crashes before an error shows.

I've also tried recreating the Parallels Boot Camp virtual machine.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Fixed: Parallels Crash on Windows Vista Bootup

So I fixed it. Removing the Parallels Tools reg key group from the registry in Windows allowed Windows to start properly and reinstall the Tools Center. I followed these instructions even though I never actually received a 07B error onscreen or registered through the events log.
