Parallels Desktop 11: High CPU and High Disk I/O

    I use Parallel Desktop 11 in combination with Bitdefender (Continuous anti-virus scanner) on OS X.
    Parallel Desktop 11 gives me a high CPU usage when using Bootcamp:

    The cause of this is probably Parallels Control Center, since the are no other CPU or I/O intensive programs running.

    Parallels Control Center tries to read all kind of random files on my computer. In the example below drives. And some of them have a buffer overflow as result:

    Hi Nicos,
    Could you please try deleting the virtual machine and adding the Boot camp partition once again and then check the CPU usages. Refer to this article.
