Ok, I was stupid enough to upgrade my Desktop 10 version to 11 without reading each and every line of the licence agreement... Though luck. I'm a Parallels customer since version 5 and like many other Mac users the reason installing Parallels desktop is simply to be able to use 2 or 3 professional Windows applications, that can't be found in the Mac world (in my case it's even only ONE app, a book-keeping software... ever saw a pro software on Mac in this field? Or a working spreadsheet app?) I own a Mac at my work place, one at home as well as a laptop, and I always had Parallels installed on all three of them, sharing the book-keeping data via dropbox. This came in handy, since I could work on my book-keeping tasks at work, at home or even "on the road". With version 11 I'm forced to buy 3 licences - although I only use ONE installation at a time... I'm a one man business I would be willing to pay for additional installations, but paying 3 times the FULL amount seems to be somehow ridiculous. Why can't I buy a bundle of licences at a reduced price? Parallels, think about it...! I'm somehow disappointed... and asking myself, how to re-install version 10 on my machines again? Or switching to another product.
Hello Thomas, If you would like to use your Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac license on a new Mac, you should sign out of the account the license is registered under on the Mac you don't need anymore. Please refer to this article for more information. Thanks!
