I have attempted to install SQL Sever 2008 express last night, and it has caused parallels to enter into a continuous reboot pattern. It loads windows, then, about 10 seconds after the load, I get the blue screen of death, and it begons the boot sequence again. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would just re-install if it weren't for one particular file I NEED to get out of the virtual machine. Thanks in advance to everyone helping. Sam
Did you try loading the latest good configuration? i.e. press F8 during the Windows boot to get the list of options. You can always try the Safe mode as well. And, depending on the Windows you have, try reparing it, using the following article: http://kb.parallels.com/en/5138
