Parallels Desktop 5 will not start

    I sent an error report with ID ID 7243258. When I try to start Parallels Desktop I get this error message:

    Unable to connect to Parallels Service.

    Make sure that the prl_disp_service process is active and it is not blocked by Firewall. If the problem persists, contact the Parallels support team for assistance.

    I have tried restarting the service from the command line, to no avail.
