Parallels Desktop for Mac 7 / Do not backup machine

    My Desktop for Mac 7 environment keeps putting a check in the Time Machine: Do not backup virtual machine. Even when I uncheck it (I WANT it to backup), and lock to prevent further changes, the check comes back.

    Time machine has 1.7TB free.
    VM has 31Gb of 65Gb free.
    Mac disk has 320Gb of 500Gb free.

    Please tell me how to deal with this?
