Hi, After upgrading from Parallels 3.0 to the latest build (as far as I know) 5608, I was unable to access my VM because it said my password was for an old version of Parallels. As I use the program daily for work, I thought I'd just downgrade back to my working 3.0 and sort out the problems later. Well that proved to be a bad move as I was unable to access Parallels at all, let alone my VM, after doing so. This was because of the whole driver issue that I've seen on this forum. "Parallels Desktop is unable to operate properly since it cannot communicate with one of its drivers. Try to restart the application to overcome this issue. If restart doesn't help, re-install Parallels Desktop. Note that Parallels drivers require a short time to be properly started and initialized. So you may need to wait a minute before trying to launch the application." I attempted to uninstall Parallels and start from scratch with my original 2.X from the box up to 3.0. However, I have a new problem. When attempting to install Parallels from the CD, the installation process simply sits seemingly idle at the "Running Parallels Desktop Installer script" step. I've included a picture. I am unable to exit without force quitting Installer. *Note* I have gone through the steps listed here: http://kb.parallels.com/en/4790 but I am still met with the same results. Installer gets stuck at "Running Parallels Desktop Installer script." This is my work computer, I have a PC at home and am not very savvy in the functionality of Macs. Thus as I've probably screwed something up somewhere, any help is greatly appreciated. System Info: I'm running OSX 10.5.4 on an iMac5,1 with a 2GHz Intel core duo processor I have 1.5 GB RAM and a 150 GB hard drive.
Update Found this in another thread: Downloaded and installed just fine. However, it won't accept my activation key.
