I just upgraded from Parallels Desktop 6 to Parallels 7, running on an 8G iMac with Lion OS. The VM I use is Windows XP. Since upgrading, the Parallels 7 window becomes active (get focus) every time a program starts in the Windows XP VM. I run a weather station in the VM and the main software app spawns another program every 60 seconds. So, the Parallels windows becomes active every 60 seconds even though it was running in the background. This is very annoying since it interrupts whatever I am doing in the MAC windows (word processing, etc.). The problem didn't exist in Parallels 6. It doesn't matter what view mode I use (coherence, modality, window), the Parallels window becomes active and I have to click on the MAC window to get back to work. I haven't been able to find any reference to this type of problem in the forum and Parallels support haven't solved it so far. Any idea what might be causing this? Thanks.
