    Hi There.

I'm trying to run parallels on a 4-way system (guest OS: win xp). If the parallels process has affinity set for all four processors (the default), the guest OS behaves erratically. Most of the time it hangs on BIOS boot. If it happens to get past boot, the windows load process is erratic, with the status bar speeding up, freezing, slowing down, etc. It often freezes before completing the boot into windows.

If I set the affinity to a single CPU, then everything boots normally.

    Is this a known problem?

    thanks!
