Parallels fails to launch - Brand new installation on brand new machine

    I just purchased parallels and a new MacBook running 10.5.4, 2.4 GHz, 4GB RAM.

    I downloaded and installed the newest version of parallels with no problems, but I have never been able to launch the program, I only get the following error message: "The application Parallels Desktop quit unexpectedly." I've tried uninstall/reinstall from the CD and from newest downloaded build.

    Please check following:
    1. Parallels Build is 5608 - Parallels Desktop - About Parallels Desktop
    2. Symantec, Norton, McAffey antiviruses on Mac OS side.
    3. Unplug all unnecessary USB devices from Mac , restart Mac OS and try again
