Ok I am running macOS Sierra Version 10.12 on my Macbook Air (13-inch, Mid 2012) Processor 2GHZ Intel Core 7, Memory 8GB 1600mhz DDR3, Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536MB, 1 a 1TB SSD drive. there seems to be an issue with Parallels 11 and 12 that breaks the use on the installed FaceTime HD camera on Sierra and El Capitan every time Parallels is lanuched ! this is annoying has hell!, the only fix is to stop Parallels (quit the app) and reboot your mac, then and only then will the FaceTime camera work, it happens on mac book pro's as well. Can your programmers take a look at your code and fix this issue!! If not I will have to look at some thing like VMWare to see if they have the issue. I use video Conferencing daily and have not been able to use it for weeks now (WebEx).. Please advise!

The exact same thing is happening to me. I called apple because it started right after the macOS Sierra upgrade as it was working fine prior to that. Before the upgrade I was running Desktop 11, and after that I was too. Something to do with the way Parallels overall plays with Sierra. Any solutions to this would be much appreciated

Yep same here VMWare 8.5 has the same issue points back to Sierra and Parallels issue, I guess the parallels team does not read their own forum!

    Hey Guys!
We have escalated the issue you reported to the Engineering Team and the are working on this issue. In the meanwhile, you can try this work around.
