On my macbook pro 2009 parallels is running without any virtual machines in running state and is consuming about 4.5 to 5 % cpu... Is there anything to do about it ?
Did you find any answers? My Macbook Pro is doing the same thing. I have my Win7 paused, "Parallels Desktop" in the activity monitor hovers right at 4.5-5%.
