It is Host Only Networking, please switch to Shared Networking from VM window - Configure - Network Adapter 1

About Parallels shows version 4.0.3810 (December 30, 2008)
Have changed Configuration ->VM Network Adaptor 1 to "shared networking, still unable to connect to the internet. Also have removed all known internet security programs.

    What can I try next?

Same Problem - No internet connection on VM side

I am trying to reestablish internet connection on VM side (Parallels 4.0.3810 running Windows XP Pro SP3) Macbook Pro 1.93 GHz Intel Core Duo 1.5GB 66 MHZ DDR2 SDRAM

Here are the results of my tests:
    MAC side
    rob-humphreys-computer-1824:~ Rob$ ipconfig -a
    usage: ipconfig <command> <args>
where <command> is one of waitall, getifaddr, ifcount, getoption, getpacket, set, setverbose

    Windows XP Side
    C:\Documents and Settings\Rob H\ipconfig /all

    Windows IP Configuration

That's it. I need help reestablishing the connection. Currently Network Adaptor 1 is configured to Shared Networking
